CHALALÁN - MADIDI NATIONAL PARK

Chalalán, located in the Madidi National Park, is a community enterprise that offers visitors a comfortable atmosphere with cabins in the traditional Tacana style, local cuisine and guides attuned to nature. The system of sustainable environmental management by which the community of San José de Chupiamonas lives has earned international recognition. From Chalalán you can explore the tropical rainforest, observing and monitoring birds and mammals, hiking the area’s paths, or exploring ethno-botanical and woodland medicine.

PAMPALARAMA – La Paz

At less than 50 minutes from the city of La Paz you can move on to a typical Altiplano community located at the base of the Wilamanquilisani peak. Pampalarama is an eco-hostel that offers meals, accommodation and guide services. From this small community activities are possible such as sport-fishing, walks to high mountain lagoons or simply relaxing participation in the community’s everyday activities.

TOMARAPI - SAJAMA NATIONAL PARK

Tomarapi is located at approximately 4 hours from the city of La Paz in the Sajama National Park. It is a model of community tourist management, where 26 Aymara partner communities have developed a quality tourism enterprise. Its eco-hostel, besides accommodation and meals, offers the services of a local guide. It is notable for the comfort of its rooms, all of which have hot water, private bath and heating, as well as a special menu based on alpaca meat and a range of vegetarian food.
Millenarian and Tomarapi have developed an alliance that dates from the beginning of the enterprise in 2003. We promote the Sajama National Park in tandem.

SAN MIGUEL DEL BALA

This community enterprise is located very close to Rurrenabaque, in the Madidi National Park. Its hostel is located in an area with ample biodiversity and the possibility of pursuing activities such as sport-fishing, woodland walks and activities involving interaction with indigenous peoples.
