GEOGRAPHY

The Bolivian Republic is located in the heart of South America, between the 57° 26' and 69° 38' of western longitude of the meridian of Greenwich and the parallel 9° 38' and 22° 53' of south latitude, including more than 13 geographical degrees. It borders in the northern part and North-East with Brazil, to the northwest with Peru, to the southeast with Paraguay, in the southern part with Argentina and in the western part and Southwest with Chile.

ACCESS ROUTES TO BOLIVIA
Land Routes: By Bus or Train.
The Bordiers are: Copacabana, Desaguadero, Villazón, Yacuiba, Puerto Suarez, Tambo Quemado, Laguna Verde, Guayaramerin.
International Airports: in La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba and Cobija.

OFICIAL LANGUAGES
Spanish (oficial), Aymara, Quechua (natives).

RELIGION
The laws accept freedom of worship and religion.

WEATHER
The Bolivian territory has a variety of climate according to the different geographical regions. In the plains it is hot and humid with an average temperature of 25°C (77°F) and heights that range between the 200 and 400 meters over the sea level. In the valleys, a moderate and dry average temperature of 15C ° (50°F) and an altitude that goes from the 1,000 to 3,000 meters over the sea level. In the Altiplano or high plateau cold with an average temperature of 10°C (40°F) and an average altitude of 3500 m.o.s.l.

For its biodiversity, 65% of the territory is plains, 15% valleys and 20% altiplano.

The country is divided into 9 departments (Beni, Cochabamba, Chuquisaca, La Paz, Oruro, Pando, Potosí, Tarija and Santa Cruz)
