AFRO-BOLIVIANS in the YUNGAS

The African communities that live in Bolivia arrived in this country as slaves. Having lived for several subsequent generations in this territory, the Afro-Bolivians have generated a notably particular lifestyle. Share in produce such as coffee, coca and citrus fruits, enjoy the music and the essence of a living culture.

KALLAWAYAS

Share and interpenetrate with the daily life of the Kallawayas, traditional healers who know the herbarium and the medicinal use of plants. As well as hiking, feel part of the process of producing natural medicinal products.

TACANAS in the MADIDI NATIONAL PARK

Sustainable management of the woodlands and respect for Mother Nature are among the main experiences that you will be able to enjoy during this visit; the Tacana are an ethnic group that will help you explore, savour, investigate and use the benefits of one of the planet’s most important rainforests.

AYMARAS in SAJAMA

These communities are expert in the sustainable management of camelid livestock, located in the Sajama National Park. You will have the opportunity to participate in the everyday life of one of several families in the community. The grazing of alpacas and llamas, shearing, preparation of dehydrated meat (charque), spinning and weaving, are just some of the activities you will be able to share in.

QUECHUAS in BOLIVIA
