This hike begins at the crossroads of a village named Parquipujio (Huatapampa), located on the road to Copacabana, then taking in the pre-Columbian path that leads us to Chisi and Chichilaya. Here a wealth of archaeological vestiges testifies to the earlier presence of the Chiripa Culture, whose origin predates the Tiwanakotas and the Incas. Meanwhile the Cordillera Real can be appreciated in all its splendour.

Tour Itinerary

This tour takes a total of four days and three nights, passing through native communities such as Sampaya, a village of mud-rendered stone houses with traditional drainage systems and stone staircases. Later we will move on to the port of Yampupata and subsequently sail to the Isla del Sol, where you will visit the three communities that make up the Island: Yumani, Challa and Challapampa. We will return by sailing to Copacabana to rest in a comfortable hotel in the town at the end of the third day of this lake trip.
