Day 1. PUNO - COPACABANA

From the city of Puno we will move on to Kasani, on the Bolivian border, which will allow us to link trips. Once we reach Kasani, on the Bolivian side of the border, and go through immigration, we continue on to Copacabana on the shores of Lake Titikaka about 20 minutes away. Visit the church and look more deeply into Bolivian Aymara-Catholic traditions. A trip across the lake by private boat will take us to the Island of the Sun, to climb the Inca Steps and stop at the Fountain of Eternal Youth. You will be able to see traditional Andean agricultural systems (terraces) and marvel at the majestic Andes mountain range and visit the palace of Pilkokaina. Later we will arrive to our Hotel in Copacabana

DAY 2.  LA PAZ

Join your guide for a half-day city tour(4 hours) Sites include Plaza Murillo (the city's main square), the Presidential Palace, the National Congress and the huge modern Church of San Francisco. This church dates from 1549 and is one of the finest examples of colonial religious architecture in South America. It is richly decorated with native religious themes. In the Mercado de Hechicéria (Witches market), llama fetuses are sold among other things which are used to protect one against evil spirits. The artisan market on Sagarnaga Street is fascinating, as is the Museo de Etnografia y Folklore where you can find Inca artifacts. The Killi Killi watchtower is located in the city's northern area, and it is here where one can observe the amazing beauty of the city.

Day 3. LA PAZ

In the morning we will visit the Moon Valley and its geological formations and sightseeing in the south part of the city, special time to get deep in the la Paz authenticity markets, street food and Paceños Life styles.

Day 4. LA PAZ / UYUNI / COLCHANIi

Morning flight from La Paz to Uyuni. Breakfast and set out for the salt flats past a small settlement called Colchani where the locals process salt. We will not stop for much time as we are aiming to get to the middle of the Salt flats to see the eyes, salt mountains and salt blocks. This singular route takes us into one of the world’s most isolated areas where we will be alone surrounded by a glittering white landscape. After a couple of hours arrive at Isla del Pescado or Incahuasi Island to look at giant cacti, birds and vizcachas that have made this island their own. At midday stop for a buffet of delicious local produce in the middle of the salt flats, and then we will move on to the salt flats. In the afternoon we take one of the hundreds of routes across the salt flats to Tahua to see the Tunupa Volcano close up, visit the Chantani Museum and the Coquesa Mummies and learn about prehispanic cultures. Watch the sun go down in a blaze of intense colours. (B,L,D)

Day 5.  UYUNI / OJO DE PERDIZ

Set out early for the deserts and lakes of the region leaving the Salt Flat behind and moving across the majestic highland area to look out at spectacular mountains and hills over whimsical landscapes where the llamas and vicuñas welcome you to wending streams and an insight into the day to day life of the locals of the area, on the way we will continue on through the desert to the Stone Tree and pass the Blanca, Honda, Hedionda, Chiarcota and Negra Lagoons to relax and have lunch prepared by our team. Day 6.  OJO DE PERDIZ – SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA – TRANSFER OUT

From Ojo de Perdiz we will go to Laguna Colorada while watching three species of flamingos dance to welcome a new day; later we will discover the Geysers, Sol de Mañana, the hot springs of Polques and Laguna Verde in the south of Bolivia almost on the border with Chile. The Licancabur Volcano stands guard over the shimmering emerald-green Laguna Verde which changes with the movement of the sun. You can choose whether to go on to San Pedro de Atacama.
