    SC101 TRANSFER SANTA CRUZ
    The airport of Santa Cruz of the Sierra is approximately 30 minutes from the city centre.


    SC102 CITY TOUR
    DURATION: 4 HOURS
    Santa Cruz is home to a wealth of interesting sites for visitors. During our tour we will visit monuments of singular importance, the Cathedral, the Arenal Park, the Casa de la Cultura (House of Culture) and the Ethno-folkloric and Natural History museums, continuing on to a place where indigenous producers from the region exhibit their craftwork.


    SC103 LOMAS DE ARENA
    DURATION: 3 HOURS
    Lomas de Arena (sand dunes) is just 20 minutes from Santa Cruz and is a protected area. This lovely area can be enjoyed on horseback or in a carriage.


    SC104 BUENA VISTA
    DURATION: 7 HOURS
    The village of Buena Vista is just 100 km from the city of Santa Cruz and is the gateway to the Amboro National Park. Visiting the visitor centre with a guide is a great way of finding out about the ecology of the Amboro National Park. You will take a short walk to understand the importance of the Park in the Andean region.


    SC105 GUEMBE BUTTERFLY SANCTUARY
    DURATION: 4 HOURS
    Guembe, the largest butterfly sanctuary in South America, is a 20-minute drive from Santa Cruz. We will have a walk around the sanctuary enjoying the pools and lagoons where hundreds of ornamental butterflies flit and feed.


    SC106 FULL-DAY CITY TOUR WITH GUEMBE BUTTERFLY SANCTUARY
    DURATION: 9 HOURS
    After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will visit monuments such as the Cathedral, the Arenal Park, Casa de la Cultura (House of Culture) and the Ethno-folkloric and Natural History museums. We continue as far as the Guembe Biocentre where lunch will be waiting for us, and then we will wander around the butterfly sanctuary and enjoy this little piece of paradise.


    SC107 SAMAIPATA
    DURATION: 8 HOURS
    This programme includes a visit to the Fuerte de Samaipata archaeological site, recently designated as one of the world’s Cultural Heritage Sites and considered one of the most important sites from the Inca Period. Our tour will include walks and a visit to the village, and at the end of the afternoon we return to Santa Cruz. 


    SC108 SAN JAVIER MISSION
    DURATION: 9 HOURS
    Leave for the San Javier Mission passing through Pailas, Pailon and Los Troncos. The Jesuit Missions in Bolivia are extremely well-preserved and have been declared by UNESCO to be a Heritage Site. San Javier is the oldest mission built by the Jesuits in the region and dates from 1691. After visiting the church, the square and the small museum have lunch and return to Santa Cruz.


    SC109 JESUIT MISSIONS OF CHIQUITOS
    DURATION: 2 DAYS

    DAY 1
    We will leave Santa Cruz early for the eighteenth- century Jesuit Missions that are living testimony to the creativity and artwork of the Amazonian indigenous people. We will visit the Jesuit Mission of San Javier, which is the first built in Chiquitos, and then continue on to Concepción.
    01 OVERNIGHT IN CONCEPCION

    DAY 2
    In the morning we will visit Concepción, which is an excellent example of baroque mestizo style. After lunch we will visit a crafts workshop, the local museum and the orchid garden, returning to Santa Cruz at the end of the day.


    SC110 THE MISSIONS - A TRIP INTO THE PAST
    DURATION: 4 DAYS

    DAY 1
    The Jesuit Missions are located in the area known as Chiquitanía and have been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. We will start off at the missions of San Javier and Concepción, visiting the churches and museums. In the evening we will arrive in Concepcion, where we will have a delicious diner.
    01 OVERNIGHT IN CONCEPCION

    DAY 2
    In the morning we will leave for San Ignacio. This village is an excellent example of the baroque mestizo architectural style, as seen in the structure of the doorways and other characteristics. Along the way your guide will give you a good explanation of the social and cultural characteristics of the local people and the influence that the Jesuits had on their lives. In the evening we will have dinner accompanied by Renaissance Music.
    01 OVERNIGHT IN SAN IGNACIO

    DAY 3
    After breakfast leave for the Mission Circuit to visit San Miguel, San Rafael and Santa Ana and the outlying countryside of San Ignacio in the afternoon. The communities where these churches are have been turned into centres where classical, mainly baroque, music plays a key part in the lives of the inhabitants.

    DAY 4
    Return to Santa Cruz in the morning.
